”Our room, No 6, was fairly compact but it was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. The modern shower and toilet room was also spotless. The staff were very friendly. We didn't see the option of breakfast so we couldn't have the residents' breakfast which included cereal and more, so we chose breakfast from the menu. It was very good - perfect poached eggs and great tea. We will be going back in the summer.”

”No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. No heating for night time so the hut was really cold, it was a good job I took extra bedding. ”

”This has to have been one of the loveliest places we've ever stayed - every single detail had been thought of, and Ruth, the host, was just fabulous. Perfect autumnal reflections in this 15 shot pano taken during a photography trip to the Lake District. We couldn't have picked a better day as the reflections made this place truly awesome.
