”We chose this hotel because it was an affordable option for a one-night stay while visiting Myrtle Beach. We also appreciated that there was no pet fee for our dachshund, Lola, which was a nice bonus. The front desk employee was friendly and tried to be helpful by placing us on the first floor for convenience with our dog.

”They were renovating a lot. It says they have a bar but they do not. The commons area was also shut down and being renovated. The beds weren’t too comfy and were left with just sheets to sleep with. Other than that the stay was awesome for the cheap price and the pools were great to cool off in from my terrible sunburn lol.”

”Unfortunately, my family and I were highly disappointed with our stay at Crown Reef. We encountered many issues. For starters, night one, we found that our bed had sand under the covers. We had to call to have the sheets changed. Then our mini fridge had to be replaced because it was leaking and not functioning. Next day we found a small cockroach. The day after, a huge water bug. Overal it’s a very old hotel with outdated rooms. Common passage to rooms smells a lot due to wet carpets all across and no cooling there. AC in the rooms , there is a lot of water leakage frommAC on the room carpets.
