”Nestled into the nature preserve. We were there at the start of the offseason. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the view was epic. The pool area and restaurant were amazing. We plan on coming back someday to Costa Rica and if on the Pacific side we will spend more days here. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

”Yuli hotel is great,I loved my stay!
The restaurant is one of the most expensive in town though,you will get a 10% discount,but even then!
Despite that eveything was great,staff is friendly,it's clean and quiet.They let you stay at the pool on the day of check out,which I felt is generous.
You will need a car or at least a bicycle to get around.”

”If you are driving: there is like an hour and a half drive on unpaved roads varying from relatively smooth to incredibly rough supposedly at other points in the year there are streams that require fording. 4x4 recommended. That being said, once you are there, the views are incredible, the rooms are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is mind-blowing. ”Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge

”This a beautiful property with rustic cabins. There are amazing views as it is high up. We saw many birds from our balcony including green parrots and toucans. It is quite a climb from the road, definitely not accessible, but close to Drake Bay beach, a grocery store and several restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. We pre-arranged a tour to Corcovado National Park through the hotel and it went great. You can order breakfast the day before and have it specially prepared for you...
