”Although the building could do with a little tlc in places, our room was large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and bar food really good too.
The bar area is fairly small and well used by locals but we did find a table both nights we were there. The biggest plus for us were the staff who are efficient and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area.
It’s in a quiet area but there are plenty of walks and an ideal base for exploring other towns and sites.”

”We stayed for two nights and while the room could best be described as adequate, the public areas are spacious, clean and well-decorated. There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming.
Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice.”

”Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door.
Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!”
