”The room had damp and wood chip wallpaper that was hanging down from the ceiling!! At a cost of £145 per night !! I would have been better camping on the stray We moved rooms and guess what it was just as bad . It’s now reached the end of its life and needs a complete renovation of the hotels bedrooms or reduce the room prices to around £50 a night Stay at your own risk I won’t be I don’t leave reviews but I don’t want anyone else to waste there money”

”Unfortunately this property has passed its heyday which is a shame as the potential is there. If you are looking for a relaxing break forget it as it is geared towards hen weekends/ spa breaks and multiple weddings. Property maintenance is sadly lacking everything looks tired and rundown. The drawer in our bedside cabinet would not close and the shower barely clung onto the wall. Suggest requesting a room somewhere quiet if there is such an area. ”Check in was great, very friendly, advised about the parking situation which wasn't ideal so ended up staying in the long stay. Room was very compact and would benefit from losing the cushions. Clean and comfortable with very nice bathroom. Didn't particularly bother us but there was very loud music from the pub playing until midnight on the Saturday. Restaurant was OK, expensive for ok food. Chunky chips were very under, fed that back to staff who smiled and said would relay to the kitchen....

”I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable.”
