”Our first time in an olde English castle. It was a real treat. We had a castle feature room with a large and very comfortable bed. The feature was a bathroom in the wardobe ( I kid ye not ) It was very clean and tidy. The floorboards creaked a bit but this is a castle built in 14C so we can excuse that. ”This is my third stay at the Indigo and it did not disappoint. My daughter is a U.S. student at Durham and so we love the proximity to her college and the town. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, and the property is clean. The bar and restaurant are both good as is the cafe in the lobby. The Indigo is my hotel of choice when in Durham and I highly recommend it!”

The entire property was spotlessly clean and the upgraded room was huge with a very comfortable bed and a pristine bathroom. Parking was easy at the rear of the hotel. The overall experience great. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.”
