”We wanted a home base instead of moving around from one hotel to another while we explored this part of Ireland. The Dingle Skellig hotel is in the perfect location if you do not want to be in the center of all the activity. It’s a short ten minute walk to town. After a long day it was wonderful to unwind away from the noise. We requested a sea view room and enjoyed having coffee as we watched the world wake up. Breakfast offered plenty of options, with peaceful views of the water and hotel...

”We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!”

”What a special place. You immediately feel comfortable when you first walk in. The room we stayed in was large with plenty of space for 3 of us and a spectacular view. The pool was a nice bonus to soak in after a long day. It’s a short walk into town but far enough out that you aren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. ”

”We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is quirky and old but the food in the bar (both lunch and dinner) was of a very high standard. There was a great choice from breakfast in the morning.
