”I love the atmosphere of this hotel. It was done with some antiques, but in a fun, unstuffy way. Maeve at the front desk was wonderful. She helped us with parking, directions around town, and with a plug adapter when we lost ours. The beds were comfortable for me. I really appreciated a soak in the bathtub after all day on my feet. The food at the restaurant was very good and everyone that helped us did a great job. ”

The Bar was a bit disappointment because they change the TV channel from the Open final day to local football match because of a random guy from street although I ask the bar tender day before if we could see The Open final in hotel bar. There was another screen available for golf in other place but no seats available. So we went to Hannigan’s to to see the final and what a great place it was. ”We selected O'Connor's for authentic Irish entertainment on the Saturday night and that's what we got. Plenty of free onsite parking. The meals were excellent. Management was co operative Check in was quick and efficient Room was warm and adequately set up. The free local entertainment was excellent see YouTube @christopherpearson1752. Nice area with Mt Brandon dominating.Worth the few extra KMs off the main track.”
