”The property is in very bad condition. There are no services. No phone in any room, there is one on every floor which doesn’t work. The safety deposit box in the room did not work, the towels need to be replaced, no taxis want to come to the property. Only redeeming feature is the dining room, good food, great staff. One lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I will not recommend this property to anyone.”

”I booked a double room which was so small. It had a dreadful view over an alley and roof top. So not desirable in any way. The room had a small fan - there is no air conditioning - we roasted - it was so so hot unbearable. With two adults in such a small room with no air-conditioning terrible. What made it worse was that there is a heated towel rail in the bathroom that was permanently on which you could not turn off so the small bathroom was so hot and made the room even worse. ”A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

”A get what you pay for hotel that is in need of a bit of TLC. Not filthy but definitely needs a good clean. An old false nail was on the stairs for 3 days, cobwebs in the room but bathroom and bedding was clean. Broken bed frame made sleeping uncomfortable but just about bearable. ”The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer.
