”We liked the property and the room, the furniture and furnishings. All clean. Our stay was disappointing for three reasons. The fireplace was not working. We were promised breakfast vouchers but they were not given at check-in. We tried to find the innkeeper at about 10:30 the next morning but he was not to be found nor did he answer the phone. The restaurant would not credit us. When we told the innkeeper, he took responsibility for forgetting to give us the vouchers but would not reimburse us...

The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing New England getaway.”
