”The food and staff are absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful with a canopy bed and a sitting area which was a welcoming area to relax after a day of sightseeing. It's also very well positioned for day adventures to the coast and York. The management team were also very visible for information and they even arranged my laundry. ”Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .”
