”rooms were clean and tidy Staff were very friendly and on arrival and throughout our stay. went out of there way to help or deal with any issue. great service. Breakfast was included. Good choice was offered and was delivered quickly and efficiently. Evening meals were great value for money and plenty of choice. Bar had a nice cosy relaxing atmosphere. The old lodge stay was as expected would recommend.”

”The hotel was clean and the room itself was large, which I appreciated. However, the furniture was very limited — just one small chair and a desk, with only a tiny bedside shelf. The room really needs at least a proper case stand or luggage rack to make it more practical for guests. I was also given one of the furthest rooms from reception despite the hotel clearly not being full, which felt unnecessary and inconvenient but often seems to be the case when booking through Expedia.”

”Booked a 2 night stay for our 1st Anniversary. Excellent communication from host. Absolutely wonderful to have been given a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom lodge. Bedroom beautifully decorated with swan towels and rose petals - superb touch, along with anniversary banner on the door - thanks you. The lodge was clean cosy and home from home. Amazing views from the hot tub which was clean and covered with a veranda and fairy lights which made it perfect to relax. Would 100% recommend to anyone...

”The room was spotlessly clean and the decorations were luxurious and homely, I would have liked a firmer mattress. Simon was very helpful, we enjoyed the filter coffee machine, and there was a great selection of teas to choose from. Across the road Bella Rosa was a great option for breakfast, Parking at weekends starts at 12 noon and finishes at 5pm, you can buy an all day permit from reception for only £1.50, we did not need this as I have a blue badge, we were visiting friends so never needed...
