”Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10”

”Although some areas could take a lick of paint, this traditional country house hotel was just what we wanted pre our Le Shuttle journey. The staff are an absolute credit to hospitality, the food is delicious and the bed was comfy, great shower pressure and peace and quiet plus safe parking. ”

”It is fabulous being in the grounds of Leeds Castle as it is such a beautiful setting. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest was an additional arm chair in our room so we could both sit in comfort. However that is a very minor point as overall the whole experience was perfect.”

”It was a great location and really pretty place with lovely gardens. The Japanese decor inside was unexpected but stunning. The quirky stairs to the ensuite was interesting but made it more fun. Lovely breakfast and friendly, helpful host.”

”Had a lovely stay at Powdermills. This is a real hidden gem - beautiful grounds, comfortable room, friendly attentive staff, lovely food etc Decor a bit dated and tired, but understand due for a refresh soon. ”

”Nice two nights stay in a very good location. I especially loved the bathroom as it was spacious and with a view to the East Hill. The stairs are tricky if you have a large suitcase, but I got wonderful service and mine was taken down for me. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from within 500 m. The buses to the railway station run 200 m from the door so that’s also nice. ”
