”Gorgeous modern hotel with great staff, I loved my mountain view room and found it large, luxurious, and spotlessly clean. There's some expansion construction going on but it wasn't disruptive. The sauna and trail to the private black sand beach are great amenities! The bar and restaurant were amazing in creativity and quality, and I really appreciated the staff seating me at a great table by the window for dinner as a solo female traveler instead of sticking me in the back!”

”The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was spotless. It was located right next to Kerið Crater, making it easy and convenient to step outside at night to watch the northern lights. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the hot tub, which was a bit disappointing. It’s definitely a place we would love to stay at again and highly recommend to others.”

”Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.”
