”Upea, tunnelmallinen majapaikka!

”Absolutely amazing property in a stunning location with views of the waterfalls and mountains. Perfect size for a family with kids - although for 4 adults it might be a squeeze. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including dish soap and dishwasher tablets. Robes were a nice touch of luxury. The cabin was quite hot on our arrival but it soon cooled after we opened some windows. I did think breakfast was on the expensive side but when I saw what they delivered all became clear! We...

Starlight Camping Pods

Rangárþing eystra

”The pod was exactly as described - clean, no frills but cozy. Was a crazy windy and rainy night we were there and the pod was great. The common area was well equipped and there were enough bathrooms to be shared with the pods when we were in the space.”

Lágafell Farm - Apartments

Rangárþing eystra

”The accommodation was spacious, but had lots of room for improvement. It met the minimum standard of cleanliness (the bedding and mattresses were clean) but overall it is a worn-out farmhouse and there were bugs, cobwebs, etc. The windows could use curtains for privacy especially in the bathroom. Meeting the farm animals was fun. There are many dogs and cats as well as typical farm animal like sheep. It is probably not a good fit for people who like neat and tidy accommodations, but...

Cave Cabins

Rangárþing ytra

”Location is great. Super cute, but small cabin. Hot tub did not work very well and didn’t hold its heat. Only 4 towels, 1 dish towel and cloth for 4 people for a two night stay. Only 4 coffee pods for a 2 night stay. Was surprised to find no basics in the kitchen. Salt, pepper or oil. However, those were not promised. Duvet inside cover was very stained and a bit off putting. The cabin had good instructions for most things. I would recommend including instructions for cook top as well.”

Mökki

Tunnelmallinen huone, jossa on riipputuoli, ruokapöytä ja näkymä pellolle, jossa on eläimiä.

Askot Cottages

Ásahreppur

”We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. There is even a small shop where they have basics you can purchase (cash only). Having...

North Star Cottage

Rangárþing eystra

”Let’s start with the positives- cute little cabin with great access to the big waterfalls, quiet, probably a fantastic location to view the northern lights, the shower didn’t leak water onto the floor, beds were comfortable, decent kitchen set up, some very nice restaurants close by, it did in fact sleep four people. Now for the negatives- upon arrival we realized the toilet paper dispenser was locked and the paper wouldn’t dispense. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper available. I tried...
