”This was such a disappointment! My wife and I went for our 30th Anniversary as we stayed there about 30 years ago and loved it!! My wife wanted to go again. I was skeptical as I saw the reviews were not the greatest and the price was a lot cheaper than it once was. I told my wife that we may not want to go but she insisted. The reviews were being nice! ”The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace.
We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service.
Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room.
All in all, our stay was exceptional. ”

”Best part: Breakfast and the views.
Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect.
Additionally, we paid $300 at the Inn...
