”C’est tout simplement l’un des meilleurs hôtels où j’ai eu la chance de séjourner au Portugal, et j’en ai déjà visité beaucoup. La restauration du monument est splendide : l’alliance de l’ancien et du moderne est parfaitement réussie.
Le personnel est remarquable, toujours attentif et chaleureux. J’ai eu la chance d'avoir une suite : la chambre, très spacieuse, offre une literie exceptionnelle et même le lit d'appuis est confortable et ça c'est très rare, mon fils fait + 1,80m et à bien dormi ....

”Il n’y a pas d’air climatisé. Le soir, c’était assez frais pour être agréable mais il n’y a pas de moustiquaires donc nous devions fermer les fenêtres à cause des moustiques abondants. La qualité de l’hébergement déjà excellente en serait améliorée grandement.”

”We had a nice one night stay at the hotel during our trip to the Douro Valley.
Our room was clean and spacious. Not brand new but not too dated either. Service was excellent. Good breakfast. Small gym with focus on cardio machines. Magnificient views from the rooms as well as the hotel terrace/bar area!
There are not many options for lunch and dinner other than the hotel restaurant, as it's a tiny village. The restaurant is ok but nothing special.”

The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. ”

The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately.

"Hotelli on todella hyvällä paikalla ja lähellä kaikki palvelut. Hotelli oli siisti ja huone yllättävän mukana. Huoneessa oli tehokas ilmastointi. Käytettävissä oli myös sauna ja kattoterassilla aurinkopedit sekä pieni uima-allas pulahdukseen. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja auttavaista.
