”Great location on the beach and near the pier! Lovely old building and large rooms with big, beautiful marble bathrooms. They only offereda 20 pound buffet breakfast in the dining room and no dinner service. We had a la carte breakfast room service but it was cold. Filtered for laundry on Expedia website and it showed laundry facilities but none were available.”

”Traditional proper British hotel. Given interior room without ability to open blinds- somewhat dark. But overall it was “an experience “. At 65 years old, we were the youngest in the hotel!!! Excellent breakfast!”

”Pleasant hotel with decent public areas. Food good in restaurant but not able to sample breakfast as this was too late for business guests. Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience.”

”From start to finish our stay was truly exceptional. We felt very privileged to stay in such a magnificent home!! Everything was truly 1st class, from the beautiful suite we stayed in, the incredible breakfast washed down with bubbly (how decadent) and two of the most generous, warm, interesting and welcoming couple you could ever meet. ”Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. ”
