”An amazing experience, we stayed in the Bank managers suite, complimentary prosecco on ice, roll top bath, emperors bed with egyptian cotton sheets, all of the little touches from the umbrella to the cash bags, breakfast in bed....amazing time. If you get chance, get this room. The staff are also first class, in particular Kelly, who is a credit to gotham, bright, helpful and engaging. Thank you. ”

”I’ve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean, tidy and well looked after. The TV is very small though, so if you want to watch something, it could be a bit of a challenge. The hotel is in a safe countryside area. I like that there’s nothing else around, but others might prefer more nearby. Hot fresh breakfast is good, but the coffee isn’t great. I’d like to see more fruit and yoghurt options as I don’t eat a full breakfast. I’ll happily stay again. ”

”It was great. Staff wonderful, food great communications excellent, only slight detraction was the room was a tiny bit tired and in the cottage across the road with a bit of a sticky window. ”Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return ”
