”I booked a room, which turned out to be very cold. I booked this premium hotel to be comfortable, and I wasn't. I called about this in the evening and they came to fix it. I also called in the morning, but no one came.
I might be old-fashioned, but back in the day there would be immediate compensation for a satisfactory resolution, i.e. free breakfast. Something like this would have made up for the issue, but nothing was offered. Feels like "thank you for your £200+, we dont care how it was...

”On check in we were gifted an upgrade and given the option of two rooms which was quite unexpected. The staff were happy and chatty with us. We had a meal in the Thai restaurant which was really delicious. Nothing really to fault”
