”Third time booking this hotel. Always lovely, clean, warm (radiators are always on before you arrive so the room is lovely and warm to get easy in).
A lovely lady from concierge called me today to confirm my booking and ensure we had the details for the contactless check-in (access codes for the front door and key box) as we were due to arrive after she had left. Super friendly and welcoming.
Room is lovely and clean, large comfy bed, clean bathroom and shower and even a space for cooking...

”Room was spacious and nicely decorated, had a great bath and toiletries. The pub was lovely and we found the evening meal delicious. The breakfast was very good also. Location was great 👍 not too far out of Newmarket itself . Easy parking, would definitely recommend. ”

”What a wonderful B&B to stay at, so close to Thursford Christmas Spectacular show, literally a 5 minute walk away. The staff ( who are employed by Thursford) are so charming and very accommodating with every wish and desire. Everything was spotless and every amenity you could ask for in the room (Ivy). The choice of breakfast ( of which there is plenty) is excellent and cooked fresh to order. Would we stay there again? A resounding Yes and thankyou again to all the Staff who made the one night...

”The Northgate is in an excellent location which allows you to explore Bury St. Edmonds with a short walk. The rooms and the grounds are beautiful and the syaff amazing.
We did the chefs table dinner and had auch a fantastic meal!
