”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...

”Lovely lodge! Clean and well presented. Rather short on a few items though. No egg cups. No chopping boards. I could have done with a small brush and shovel in order to leave the lodge a bit cleaner. Apart from that it was a beautiful lodge and very spacious. We had a lovely few days.”

”The breakfast ŕoom was high quality with wooden carved dining chairs and chandeliers.
Our guest room was well decorated with good paintings and carved woodwork. and The recliner chair with a footstool was both notable and comfortable. The large sofa was also comfortable.
Our balcony with a view of fields beyond would have been a place to relax in on a warm day.
The full English Breakfast was both good quality and ample food.”

”We booked the luxury caravan with a hot tub, although unfortunately we wouldn’t describe it as “luxury”.
There were a few things that we felt needed attention. The radiators in the bathrooms were rusty and really need replacing, the grouting was mouldy, and one of the shower screens had mould around the bottom. The white railing around the patio was also loose and needs securing.
The hot tub had supposedly been cleaned before our arrival, but there were what looked like small stones in it,...

”A group of us stayed for a weekend around a wedding. Excellent communication from booking onwards.
A couple of tiny niggles were sorted straight away
Everything was clean and we all had enough room (not your typical holiday let without enough room to open a suitcase)”
