”We were skeptical to book this hotel considering other reviews. However it was very nice not outdated nor did it smell. Great place for a great buck, I highly recommend staying here, Staff at the front desk were super helpful. It’s a short walk to the beach which was a plus. Super impressed, looks just like the photos! Parking is the only downside easy to get blocked in. ”

”I got to stay in the back unit behind the house, they have done a pretty nice job here but i'll be honest I really like having even a small desk for business/travel and nice place to set my stuff. ”The Sea Gypsy is an absolute oasis from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk (and yet extremely close to it when that's what you want.) There are not enough stars to rate the charm of the place. We were in the DH Lawrence suite and it came with its own guard-cat, Romeo. ;-) The whole experience there was a vacation unto itself.”

”Typical wildwood motel, somewhat dated. What sets this place apart for me was the staff. The office staff were super friendly. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job. We’ve stayed at many wildwood motels and this was the cleanest room and freshest smelling room we’ve experienced. The motel itself is a bit dated but they’ve made some modern enhancements in the room. Big flat screen tv, outlets with usb charger ports, etc. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. ”

”The check-in process was sketchy. The owners own multiple hotels in the area and while I reserved a room in one hotel, I ended up in a different hotel altogether. The room was great and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a technical glitch with the TV caused by a previous resident who had brought his own firestick and failed to reset the input source before they left. Overall the room at the BelAir (where I ended up) was top notch.”
