”When I booked the hotel I asked if I could be away to rest and relax but was placed by screaming children banging doors and running up the corridor and they were the same in the room next to us”

”Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

”Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Large room with comfortable bed. En-suite included bath (preferred by wife), while the shower, above the bath, worked pretty well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good full Welsh breakfast, lighter options also available. Good varied dinner menu (we ate there three times). The dog was made as welcome as we were, and we hope to return.”

”Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful. We would happily stay here again.”

”Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

”Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has heartfelt staff who made us feel welcome. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and we loved having a nice breakfast served right to our table each morning. The hotel itself is in a beautiful building and neighborhood, with the added convenience of having parking available. ”Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...

”I booked in for one night to go to a local event. The room was clean enough for an overnight stay. The staff left a fan in the room which was handy with how warm the night time was. Parking was on the road outside which was safe enough.”
