”The Horton Grand, although historic and located in a great location, shows signs of needing work. Carpet is worn and doors do not fit well (bathroom door would not close.) We stayed in a "balcony" suite. The balcony was barely large enough to stand on, so not much of a perk. The windows and exterior door are not well sealed, so street noise (cars and people) was very loud, to the point of needing earplugs to sleep.
There was a deal on the room price, which was why we chose to stay there, but it...

”Overall, our stay was not a great experience.
Flooring upon entry to the Kasa property was dirty and sticky.
The elevator was dirty and smelled like trash/old food. (probably from the neighboring restaurants that utilize the elevator.)
Upon entering the room, Everything seemed to be in order, freshly stocked, but I noticed the bed was incredibly low, which, if you enjoy your shins, good luck. The bed's headboard was also broken, and the nightstand shelves were angled, making it almost...

”The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioner was a bit noisy. The parking space was key since the garages around there are very expensive and street parking is hard to come by. Their is a pretty big homeless population there, however, so that is something to be aware of.”

”The kitchen was so minimally stocked that we did not use it. It also did not have a dishwasher. If you are okay with lots of light and noise all night long, the place is fine. However, the master bedroom curtains look like slum lord curtains. They are mismatched, only 1/2 of one side has black out and the windows do not open. There are only curtain rods on half the side walls. The owners did the least amount possible to call this a VRBO and it shows.”
