Maatilamajoitukset – Aberdeenshire and Moray

”We are gutted to write this review as we stayed here previously and had a lovely stay but sadly the hotel has gone downhill, and I think that’s putting it politely. On the surface it looks great, but there were to many issues to say we’d ever think about returning. Firstly the leisure facilities, one of the main reasons we booked here, looks good but when you’re in the water is murky and doesn’t feel clean. The outdoor hot tub and sauna gets booked out for ‘private’ hire and the whole time we...

”Amazing place. We had a very relaxing stay.”

”Siivous ei ollut kovin perusteellista. Esim. edellisiltä unohtunut lasten hiuskoru oli sänkyni alla koko vierailun ajan. Sänky aika loppu ja yksi palanut lamppu juuri wc:n peilin kohdalla.”

”A very welcoming place to stay while touring around the nearby distilleries. A great little restaurant, wonderful breakfast and a nice whiskey bar to unwind in the evening. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!”

”Very nice looking and clean hotel. Staff was making quite A noice by yelling and slamming the doors on the hallway and in room opposite us. Quite popular wedding place. We stayed two nights and there was two weddings at the same time. Lots of parking space. Quite good breakfast. Hotel restaurant was good.”

”Stayed at this hotel”

”We enjoyed all the comfort and atmosphere of an old inn, but with every modern convenience. The food was superb in the restaurant, and the full breakfast was as well. The common room was a cozy area with a fire, comfortable seating, and games!”

”The property in Ballater is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. It was also incredibly well kept and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay.”

”Lovely room. We had an evening meal in the bar and the food was excellent. Breakfast was included and there was an excellent selection of cold buffet and cooked options. Again, lovely and very friendly attentive staff. If you want a tranquil location then do go and you won’t be disappointed.”

”A bit outside the city center, but new, clean and good”

”First class hotel, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful situation excellent food and very friendly efficient staff”

”Reception staff very nice and helpful, nothing to much bother . Room was well equipped regarding wardrobes and drawers . Nice and cosy . Unfortunately we were in a ground floor room and window did open but didn’t stay in position, improvised with the use of tying a scarf . Beds were comfortable, alas we usually strip beds in the morning on vacating room, , mattress cover badly stained , and next layer too , reluctant to go beyond this. Sheets , duvet etc lovely and clean so if we hadn’t...
