”Siivous ei ollut kovin perusteellista. Esim. edellisiltä unohtunut lasten hiuskoru oli sänkyni alla koko vierailun ajan. Sänky aika loppu ja yksi palanut lamppu juuri wc:n peilin kohdalla.”

”Amazing place. We had a very relaxing stay.”

”Stayed at this hotel”

”Lovely room. We had an evening meal in the bar and the food was excellent. Breakfast was included and there was an excellent selection of cold buffet and cooked options. Again, lovely and very friendly attentive staff. If you want a tranquil location then do go and you won’t be disappointed.”

”We enjoyed all the comfort and atmosphere of an old inn, but with every modern convenience. The food was superb in the restaurant, and the full breakfast was as well. The common room was a cozy area with a fire, comfortable seating, and games!”

”I stayed in a room rather than one of the lodges, and the room was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It's worth noting its on the very edge of the town, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ballater. My only disappointment was that the rooms are not serviced daily unless you are staying for a longer period, which wasn't explained at check-in. It was a little frustrating to return after a long day out to find the room hadn't been serviced, as that's one of the things I most...

”Very nice looking and clean hotel. Staff was making quite A noice by yelling and slamming the doors on the hallway and in room opposite us. Quite popular wedding place. We stayed two nights and there was two weddings at the same time. Lots of parking space. Quite good breakfast. Hotel restaurant was good.”

”A nice hotel that just needs a spruce up. Basic room that had ‘old lady perfume smell’ but clean. Friendly staff. Limited bar. Small but adequate breakfast buffet. Looks more like a retirement home than a hotel.”

”A bit outside the city center, but new, clean and good”

”A beautiful property. You can see they've really maintained the elegance of the house. There were just a few small things like the ceiling was a bit cracked, the faucet cap was missing, and the toilet needed to be pumped in order to flush. But the staff were great and the food was very good so all in all, I would recommend it as a place to stay.”

”A very welcoming place to stay while touring around the nearby distilleries. A great little restaurant, wonderful breakfast and a nice whiskey bar to unwind in the evening. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!”

”This was a fantastic place to relax, although a little dated the room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were marvellous and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t have breakfast but had lunch and dinner a few times, the food was delicious, especially the fish specials, they are definitely worth a try. You can sit outside in the evening and really enjoy the sea air, love this part of the world and the seal beach which is a short distance from the hotel.”
