'Sgubor Delyn, Aberystwyth

‘Sgubor Delyn is a charming single-storey stone barn attached to the owner’s cottage between the villages of Llanrhystud and Llangwyryfon in Ceredigion. Surrounded by farmland and with lovely views towards the sea in the distance, it offers a great rural escape to unwind in.

When you have finished exploring for the day, relax outside on the patio and watch the red kites soar overhead- a truly magnificent sight. The electric effect log burner makes this a cosy cottage all year round, and you can enjoy the books and board games provided.

‘Sgubor Delyn is ideally situated for exploring everything West Wales has to offer. The cottage is midway between the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron and the vibrant seaside town of Aberystwyth, where you can enjoy fish and chips on the pier, visit the amusements or take the Cliff Railway up Constitution Hill.

All types of fishing are available locally and country pubs in the nearby villages. The Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway runs from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge and is a great scenic trip.

The Ceredigion Coast Path is a joy for walkers and their dogs, following the spectacular Cardigan Bay coastline with its stunning scenery between picturesque villages. Nearby attractions include a golf club offering swimming, gym, sauna, restaurant and bar. Beautiful walks on nearby Mynydd Bach (Small Mountain)
