Lomamökit – Acadia Mountain Trailhead

”My family stayed for 3 nights to check out Acadia. The rental was perfect for our family of 3, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was even a little grocery store less than a 1/4 mile down the road. It was about a 25 minute drive to get to most of the big Acadia sites since they are on the other side of the Island, like the Jordan Pond House, Thunder Hole, and Sieur De Mont.However, we considered that a good thing because it was much quieter and relaxing out in Southwest Harbor. ”This location worked out perfectly for us as it was a short drive to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and many of the Acadia entrances. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful July 4th wknd stay. There’s a wonderful place across the street for breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. thanks for a great stay!”

We had everything we needed and was able to take a five minute drive to a nearby IGA for food and supplies, and had lovely restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the short drive to the bottom of Long Pond for hiking and a peaceful, beautiful place to read and sit to start and end our days. The campground was just so peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend.”
