”Property in great condition, pool and fire pit great, being near the beach was nice. The power outlets didn’t work initially, front desk was notified and it was fixed fast. Tv remotes had no batteries, once front desk notified it was fixed. Great parking, safe area. ”

”My wife and I arrived at Gruene Cottages about about 5pm, having notified GC that we would arrive later in the evening. Upon my arrival I realized that my reservation was for an upstairs cottage. This was an issue as I am in my late 70s and can’t manage stairs. I met with the manager on duty. ”This was a very nice property in the staff were excellent. The pools and Jacuzzi very very nice. The pool was perfect temperature wise. Did you could walk right in with no issues at all with the cold very unheard of at hotels. The tiny house or cottage was very nice. Just big enough two. I would definitely go back again. ”

”I loved this cottage! I brought my crafts and my dog and had a great time. My two concerns centered around my age (69), and physical abilities. The wooden staircase is beautiful but difficult when carrying items upstairs. I saw it in the picture, so I was aware of possible difficulty getting up and back from the cute loft bedroom. My Boston Terrier wouldn’t go up the fairly steep open-ended stairs, so I had to carry her 23 lb keister up and down. Not easy, not a pretty sight. The only...

”Hot water was a bit slow to get. It’d take about 5 minutes for the hot water to even start when using the shower. Other than that, this property was very nice. Cute little cottages with everything you’d need for a hiking vacation. The owner was very responsive and nice. Great amenities on the property too which you don’t see in many other places. Will certainly book here again in the future if we return to Acadia. ”
