3-bedroom green sanctuary in the heart of Accra with beautiful garden pool

Private home at the end of a cul-de-sac just 15 mins from the airport and downtown Osu. Enjoy the tucked away green (not-so-green in dry season) and quiet yet remain close to cool restaurants, the Du Bois centre, farmers/craft market, the beach, and Accra’s tourist/ entertainment spots. Spacious bedrooms, kitchen, dining-living area, pool, a large garden with organic (seasonal) fruit and vegetables, and beautiful airy terraces, make it perfect for families, separate guests and work retreats.

This Afro-centric designed space is beautiful and private; situated next to the host's own residence and lovingly cared for. home offers a cozy, airy, peaceful environment ideal for work, rest or meditation. Wake up to the sound of birds. Guests have access to the entire house, as well as a pool set in a lovely green nook (shared with host). Green-conscious spaces provide filtered bore hole water, back up water tanks, back-up solar power, and solar heated water. All rooms are beautifully furnished, with AC, hardwood parquet floors and TVs (2 rooms with smart TVs). BR 1 with en-suite bath, BR 2 and 3 share a bathroom with separate toilet. Beds have orthopedic mattress; sizes follow the 'British model' (2m length).

Towels and linens will be changed once/week & cleaning services will be also be provided once/week. External areas are cleaned twice/week. (Extra towels supplied on request).

We offer self check in. However, we are available to welcome guests on arrival, departure, or both as requested. We are always a text message away on the app.

Guests have access to the entire house & can easily get to the property and around the city with Uber, Yango, public taxis, and the mini buses (aka trotros). Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Guests who have a car can park on the premises.

Please read the house rules & other info on the different spaces & share with your co-travelers. This is a non-smoking environment. Parties and social gatherings are not permitted.

Accra neighborhoods sometimes have a black or brown out, and for that we have solar back up. Water supply from the city is very irregular and so we have a borehole and a filtration system with a backup tank. However, life happens and something that should work may simply not! On those rare occasions we will do all we can to find an alternative that will help you smile.

Internet service is fairly reliable, however, we cannot guarantee that you will have uninterrupted Wifi because of the internet infrastructure. For those 'bad' days we will try to offer a portable modem. (Or perhaps: consider shutting off the world and reading a book?).

We are close to the airport (yay!), this also means that mornings and evenings you can expect to hear planes. But they are gone before you can say Akosua! We live next door and have 2 dogs (born 2020) that have access to the yard, but which is separated from the guest area by a metal fence. During your stay they will be kept behind our side of the fence. They are pets but also guard dogs.

We may request proof of ID at check in.
