”Great location between Clitheroe and great walks. Super pubs within 5 to 10 miles. Cottage roomy, beautifully warm with super wood burning stove. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped . Owner very welcoming and quick to respond to any issues. Furnishings a bit tired and a stale smell of dogs, especially in the main bedroom.”

”We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience.”

”Lovely clean cottage with a really nice welcome pack, about a 5 minute walk into town where there are lots of pubs and resturants, lovely little bar next to the canal, parking was abit tight and reversing out was tricky but manageable, Could of done with a small hand basin in the toilet so you dont have to go along the landing to the bathroom to wash your hands and maybe a shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries on, bit tricky trying to balance a bar of soap on the side of a roll top bath.”
