”Checked in and hour after booking, room was perfect my needs, breakfast was delicious.”

”Our room smelled like mold, likely because there was a lot of rotting and what looked like mold in the bathroom. The carpets themselves needed to be replaced as they had a musty smell likely from too much moisture or spills. This hotel really needs a lot of work to make it feel inviting. Any fixes that were implemented in our room looked like bad work, with sink faucets being very strangely set up, lots of random cracks and peeling paint throughout as well. I would not recommend anyone staying...

”I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

”So, we have been going to the Claremont Motor Lodge for several years now. We really like the location as it's quite close to Weathersfield, VT. The rooms are clean, but somewhat small. Privacy during the warmer months can be challenging due to your motor lodge neighbors sitting out in front near your room. Management just began having free coffee in the lobby from 7-9am. Wish that it could be 6 or 6:30 am since we are early risers. All in all, a comfortable stay for the price.”

Only entertainment in the room was the Holy Bible that was left laying on the table. There were even no glasses on the room (are we supposed to drink straight from the tap?). It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works.
