”Fairly new”

”It was very basic room and breakfast. The construction surrounding the hotel was blowing dirt everywhere and confused my GPS and sent us through the construction. Recommend you close down and update the hotel. Doors in the halls to maintenance areas were in need of help.”

”Large, comfortable room and a wide variety of options at breakfast (omelets, sausages, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit, etc). The room has a nice shower with good water pressure, though it took me a while to understand how to turn it on. The main room was a bit dim since there was no ceiling lights, and I closed the curtains as my room was right across the parking lot.”

”Everything we experienced in our one night stay was excellent:staff was cheerful and responsive, room was clean, nicely decorated and equipped, breakfast was abundant, tasty and well supervised. The Port’s long tradition of welcoming travelers is intact.”

”Loved the breakfast. Common areas were clean and well lit. The room, while comfortable, nut needed housekeeping attention, particularly the bathroom. I was confused by the room cleaning schedule of every other day. Our room was freshened only once in our 7 night stay. Trash was emptied only once. We liked the hotel and will return.”

”This place looked like it was going to be amazing in the pictures. Reality it felt like a refurbished hotel. It was ok for one night. Wouldn’t stay more than that. The AC worked. We had clean towels and sheets, the continental breakfast was hot and plentiful. Good selection of items. Nothing fancy.”

”Their room assignment system was broken and they were understaffed. The staff did their best but they did not have sufficient help. Once we were in it was great with no issues.”

”This was a dream Hotel to stay at! Everything was impeccable! The bed was nice and firm yet comfortable and the pool was wonderful! I wish the jacuzzi was a tad More hot but other than that everything was great!”

”Parking was easy which is a plus especially in a city like portsmouth. The town is extremely walkable so we didn't have to use the car again until we left. The staff was friendly and attentive. They asked what kind of coffee we wanted and even cleaned our room which included changing the towels. If we come back to portsmouth, I would definitely stay her again”

”The room is spacious and clean with comfortable pillows. The rooftop bar and restaurant is lovely and a plus. The staff from the reception to the rooftop bar/restaurant were helpful and friendly with great service. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”
