”Lovely location, plenty of parking, good breakfast and above all great staff.”

”No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. ”

”I needed a place to stay for one night after an evening event in Scunthorpe. Gary and Sue were welcoming and most accommodating to my need for a late evening return. Good clean room with iron and tea made available. Well worth the money.”

”Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, loved that there is an ice machine on each floor... only issue being that there is nothing to put the ice in to take it to your room. The room itself we likes alot it was very spacious and modern, the ac wasnt great as it wouldn't let you put the room temp below 19 degrees so didnt really do much. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast... the main issue we had with this hotel is the distance from the car park to the entrance, it is way too far especially...

”Yes I was late for 9.00pm check in , but the pub was supposed to be open to 10Pm which it was not. Did not answer initial messages about a refund and refused a refund after Expedia called to request one. Make you own mind up what kind of place this is. ”

”Nothing at all wrong with the hotel. Clean, nice views of garden, huge bed. It was the noise of the other guests that kept me awake after deciding that 11:30 at night was the best time to have a loud pointless conversation on the landing. Hotel was fine and i had no issues with it. Staff are very helpful and polite. Would stay with them again if i have to.”

”Happy with the room aat a fair price and the ease I got their from the station. Everything clean and well kept with the bathroom large with an excellent shower. Just a long walk with a few steps to the 30th & last room, at my age a room easier to get to would have been appreciated, but a minor complaint.”
