”The grounds and the pool looked very nice and so clean when we pulled in, we were very pleased. We were greeted by the nicest owners! Coffee lovers just like me! The room looked newly renovated and was very clean! The motel is located fairly close to the boardwalk, there is a bit of a walk to the rides (tram is available) and a crazy long walk to the shoreline! (just gotta hoof it) Otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you!”

”Our return ferry trip was cancelled, so instead of driving 3+ hours with my granddaughter, I figured we'd stay somewhere inexpensive. While there are features such as cleanliness and service that rate 5 stars, this is not a 5 star property. It is an extremely well maintained and clean 1950s motel, right across the street from the boardwalk and beach. ”Expedia didn't transfer the payment of my reservation. Because of this I didn't have a room. I blame Expedia 100% because they were not responsible. The hotel staff kindly helped me get a hotel nearby.”

Location was great. 2 blocks from start of boardwalk. Bike rental Nextdoor. Beach entrance across street, and a boardwalk out to ocean to sit or eat lunch. Will visit again.”

”This hotel is not great, no matter the deal. We had numerous problems from broken lamps, a shower that didn’t drain, a stolen phone cord huge crack in bathroom sink… Dust literally on walls, damaged curtains that wouldn’t close…horrible. We will NEVER return!”

”This was our 8th time at the Shalimar. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and met all our needs. The pool was well maintained and parking was always available. They have a small arcade, five hole golf, cornhole and a ping pong table. Learned today they have a fitness room! There's something for everyone. We're going back in a few weeks! Highly recommend.”

”The pools were great. The daily DJ was fun. The elevator was super slow. The bartenders are super picky about no outside food or drink at the pool. That’s tough when you have little kids and all they want to eat is snacks ! The location is great for the boardwalk and beach and it’s very accommodating for a large group. The front office staff were exceptional.”

”All in all, the best money for a stay we've ever spent in Wildwood. Two pools available, a top of the line ice machine, grills available, and really close to the beach. The room was clean (8.5/10) and the gripes were really very few. No TV in living room (but one in each bedroom) and cooking breakfast required us to open the bathroom window and the main door to ventilate so the smoke alarm didnt go off (no fan for range/oven) and the oven door wouldnt open because the fridge was in the way.
