”Very nice place good value for your money. Hotel restaurant serves surprisingly good food!! And the guys there are really fantastic and friendly with kids. Thanks again! Beds are comfy and our room in the second floor was quiet and nice and well cleaned. Beach is nice to swim. The road between hotel and beach is easy to cross even with small kids and doesn't bother you with noice that much when you're lying on the beach or having dinner or sleeping.”

”The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel.”

”We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable apartment with a great balcony. It is not too modern and is great value for money. It was easy to find and very close to the seafront, it has a pretty garden. The host was friendly and helpful. Milatos is a peaceful seaside village reminiscent of Crete 40 years ago, however it has choice of places to eat. We had our best meal in Crete so far at Meraklis Tavern on the waters edge, very good value”

”This was a lovely property -- I can't say enough good about it and the proprietors. They were *lovely* -- some of the nicest people we met in Greece, and that's saying a lot. We had breakfast at their on-site cafe every morning, and it was utterly delicious. All of the beaches on this little peninsula are delightful, each in its own way. La piscine un peu etroite, mais l'ensemble est tres agreable . La situation ( apres que l'on ait decouvert le chemin qui mene a Eliza ) est idéale . ”I know Greece very well, I have stayed in many “traditional” apartments. But there is a difference between traditional and so old it needs serious work. I booked as I was on business in the area for a couple of days. Any longer I would have moved. Now believe me the owner and his friend were fabulous, so hospitable and nothing a problem but I could not return to stay here again which breaks my heart for them. I am sure that with some work and decent cleaning staff then this could be turned...
