Villa Fortunan palatsin ranta-huvila Half Moon Bayn valkoisella hiekkarannalla, Casa Fortuna sijaitsee ihanteellisesti kukoistavan koralliriutan edessä, joka tarjoaa joitakin parhaista snorklausta Akumalissa.

Vuonna 2014 yksi Meksikon suosituimmista arkkitehteista suunnitellussa Casa Fortunassa on 7000 neliömetriä moderneja asuintiloja, joissa on avoimet ja ilmavat näkymät koskematon ranta ja taivaansininen meri. Mukautettu kalustus, tilattu taidetta, suuri gourmet-keittiö, huippuluokan kaiuttimet ja runsaasti rannalla sijaitseva uima-allas tekevät tästä huvilasta upean, itsepintaisen omaisuuden. Mikä parasta, Villa tarjoaa 6 tilavaa merinäköalaa, joissa kaikissa on oma parveke ja marmorikylpy. Kaikissa huoneissa on myös 43 tuuman taulutelevisio / DVD. Kaikki huvilan alueet ovat ilmastoituja.

Kaksi komeaa mahonkipöydän ruokapöytää mahtuu 18: een; tarjoaa runsaasti ruokailutilaa sekä sisä- että ulkotiloissa.

Casa Fortunan asiakkaat voivat tilavalta kattoterassilta nauttia 360 °: n näkymästä kuohuviinien Karibianmerelle itään ja vehreään Mayan-viidakkoon länteen. Ne voivat myös nauttia hiljaisen stargazing-iltana 5-tuumaisen aukon Celestron-kaukoputken kautta. Niille, jotka mieluummin juhlivat tähtien alla, terassilla on myös tilaa 25 hengelle, joissa on mukavat kalusteet, sisäänrakennettu baari ja kylpyamme.

We enjoyed the property and its space was on point. The areas to relax inside and out were just what our group needed. The house staff was friendly and attentive. The management group was so helpful and no ask was too big or small. We will be back!

Great property, beautiful house, excellent pool and friendly helpful staff. Very safe. The barbecue and the stove/ oven are in bad shape, as well as the frying pans. Nice restaurants very close by as well as a little store.

Wonderful Casa Fortuna

We had a great stay at Casa Fortuna. Our group was 4 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 babies, and the property was perfect. Easy beach and pool access was great for the kids. The pool was big enough for lap swimming. The grassy area was wonderful for the kids to play on. And the rooms/house had everything we needed for a vacation home. The location is close to a cute coffee shop, 3-4 great restaurants, and an awesome cenote. We also used the recommended chef services for a few special meals, which were amazing.

Framily Spring Break

We stayed in this house with 2 other families for spring break. The house was perfect for us. It was big enough that we never felt like we were on top of each other and we all had plenty of our own space. The house is located in a neighborhood where we could walk to several shops and restaurants. We hired Chef Daveed services and Samuel and Gabby took care of us all week. I can’t recommend them enough! Only downside for us was the beach is very rocky so it’s not a space where the kids could play football, etc. Once you get out into the water past the rockiness there is an incredible reef to snorkel. We absolutely loved this house!

All six bedrooms are beautiful and feature a complete, unobstructed ocean view, so everyone was happy, including the couple staying in the downstairs bedroom, who mentioned the windows provided sufficient soundproofing when other guests continued to hang out by the pool or common areas. Akumal Direct and Locogringo helped us plan fun activities during our stay, from private yoga lessons and on-site chef service to a beach club day on Akumal Bay.

Awesome vacation

The property was awesome. It fit our needs perfectly. One bedroom on first floor perfect for our 80 year old mother so no climbing stairs. Elevator was not working but probably a good thing as the younger kids would not abuse it. The beach area was smaller than we expected but still wonderful view from the house to the ocean. Most photos taken were from the palm tree in front of pool. Awesome views. Staff was great and pleasant. We would return if we take another family trip to Akumal.

Excellent

Great location - away from the chaos of Cancun but not so far as to be hard to reach. Close to Tulum and lots of cenetos (Aktun Chen was the highlight of our trip - don't miss it) and other cool stuff. Akumel downtown is an easy walk and has groceries, etc. Plenty of nice restaurants within a short walk. Great house - perfect for our large family - lots of big rooms and also spacious living area downstairs for us to all congregate. The rooftop deck is a wonderful bonus. Chef Daveed service was very professional and delicious - we used them for dinners and fended for ourselves for other meals. Staff was very attentive and quickly dealt with the occasional minor glitch to internet or whatever. Pool, kayaks, snorkel gear all excellent. Highly recommend!

Amazing time in Akumal

Having walking access to a couple great restaurants and a quick golf cart ride to a bunch of great food was amazing. We loved sitting in the pool and listening to the ocean and the layout made it easy for people to get rest upstairs, or people to party the night away downstairs at the same time. The fridge is huge and we cooked a beautiful Wahoo fish dinner that we caught the day before. La Buena vida was one of our favorite food spots, and the jungle cafe was the best place for breakfast and coffee/juices. The management was a quick email or whatsapp message away always and set up tons of taxis and massages pretty much anything we could need. LOVED IT

Home is beautiful and well supplied with kitchen stuff, paper goods, treated water coolers, pool chairs, 3 kayaks, 6 bikes, etc. Rooms huge, each with own bath and ocean views. Great pool (we had it heated). Beach is rocky till get out a ways, where snorkeling is good. Walkable to stores, restraunts, pharmacy. Safe some reviews indicate, the usual minor issues with ocean front home in Mexico (some furniture a bit worn, doors or windows hard to operate, frig a little temperamental in cooling) but none of these little things spoiled our week. We plan on going here again next year!

This house is beautiful and comfortable, and the location is just amazing. We were 8 adults and 5 kids under 5 and we had an amazing time. Ruth and Carlos kept the house clean and organized. The beach is sandy, but when you get in the water it is a little rocky which is fine as long as you bring water shoes (the house has some spare ones as well). You can swim just a couple of meters away from the shore, and you’ll find many different reefs with all types of marine life - we were lucky to see turtles, rays and all kinds of fish. We hired chef daveed for most meals and it was great to not worry about cooking and the food they cooked was just so delicious! You also have a couple good restaurants a just a few minutes away by foot. And you are just a few minutes drive from “downtown” akumal.

We had the most incredible time at Villa Fortuna! The house is stunning, the view is fabulous and the location is perfect! We felt so safe, free to explore, and it was amazing to have this house (instead of a resort) so the kids could go relax at their will, play like crazy in the pool, and having the beach to ourselves was so special. We will definitely be back! I would recommend renting a car, as transportation via taxi/Uber was much more expensive than we expected. The restaurants that are within walking distance were fantastic! We use Chef David services and it was one of the highlights of the trip! The Cenote tours and Mayan ruins tour were so memorable - highly recommend. The house is cleaned every day (except Sunday) by Ruth and Carlos ~ they are the sweetest couple and they did such a great job keeping us organized/clean. The house is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen (lots of dishes/wine glasses, etc. This was one of the best vacations we have every had. We totally fell in love with Akumal ~ I’m glad we needed up in Akumal instead of Tulum bc it was slower paced, very chill and quaint. Thank you again for such a phenomenal vacation!

Villa Fortuna Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 3 generation family chose the Villa Fortuna vacation home in October of 2022 for a vacation. We had a great time. The home was very spacious and the web description is accurate. The home felt very safe in the gated community of Akamal. The highlight of the trip was a launch of baby turtles on the first night on the beach next to the home. We rented golf carts to facilitate moving around the Akamal community.Pros: the sum of the outdoor seating for all meals, adjacent to the pool, which was next to the ocean. Fantastic for the grandkids and adults to bounce between the pool and the beach.Cons: The house does not have a dishwasher, lots of dishes to wash by hand.Information: The ocean is difficult for entry due to broken coral, but the snorkeling from the beach is good once one slowly navigates into the ocean.Communication with the property management staff was very easy and prompt (Rhett and David).Well done Akumal Direct Reservations!!!

Wonderful home for a family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a truly wonderful experience at Villa Fortuna and Akumal direct. The home is spacious and ideally situated -- a short and lovely bike ride or golf cart ride to town. The daily housekeeping services were exemplary and Ruth y Carlos were helpful in making sure the house and grounds were kept spotless. We used Chef Daveed and his team for a handful of meals during our stay and our only regret was not using them more! From blended margaritas to handmade tortillas, each meal, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner was absolutely delicious. While the location of the villa, housekeeping and chef services were all A+, there were some things that could be improved. The outdoor lounge chairs were in poor shape and the side entrance to the house should be tidied up when there are house guests. The bikes that come with the house are rusty and old, but served their purpose. Overall, this villa served us well (9 adults, 2 children) and we loved our stay in Akumal very much.

Reviewer Comments: we were a family of nine that have traveled many times together with each other usually in all inclusive resorts. we enjoyed the common area of the house where we could all meet and visit and play cards. my husband and I love to cook but the kitchen could use some updates. The stove was difficult to light and the flame is quite low much like a camping stove. The grill was not much better. The knives used for chopping were all rather doll and difficult to use. We quickly decided that cooking at the home was not that feasible so we utilize the local restaurants. The bikes seem quite dated. The kayaks we had to go rob Peter to pay Paul as far as the plugs go call me back home . The beach itself is sandy and nice but once you hit the water you’re walking on very rough rocks making it somewhat untenable to snorkel right off the beach. The snorkeling gear at the house is rather old and dated. I guess the one thing that caught me the most off guard was at the house came with housekeeping services which I was not aware of and the tipping guidelines that weren’t spelled out from the onset. Carlos and Ruth were lovely people and very helpful and accommodating and the place was kept very clean. Location was great we were by several restaurants that we enjoyed. So the pros were we got to spend time together in a closer proximity then hotels afford. The cons or the suggestions were that the house needs updates the outdoor furniture is in disrepair and the cushions on the outdoor furniture were very worn. we felt very safe in Akumal. hope this review is helpful as the intention was to provide realistic feedback to manage expectations when renting this property.

Les chambres sont immenses et ont toute un grand balcon coté mer. Propreté sans faille partout dans la maison. Carlos et Ruth sont très attentifs à nos demandes. Quelques appareils étaient non fonctionnels mais ont été rapidement remplacés. La seule déception que nous avons eu est la quantité d'algues sur la plage, c'est très désagréable et ca sent mauvais malgré qu'à tous les jours un homme peinait à tout ramasser sans y parvenir. Par contre, aussitôt cet amas d'algue traversé, nous nous retrouvons dans une eau cristalline, chaude et pleine de découvertes: poissons tortues et coquillages sur une très grande surface. Durant notre séjour, une tortue est venue pondre sur notre plage. Très belle semaine mémorable pour chacun de notre groupe de 13.
