”The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up...

”The hotel was very outdated and in poor condition. The bathroom was mouldy with black grout and smelt. The only natural light in the room was an emergency exit door. The overall look of the room wasn’t well kept with old furniture. Picture online very deceiving”

”The Accommodation was very clean and modern. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was amazing”

”Roads were very narrow getting to the hotel. Give yourself plenty of time! Bathroom not great, bodged fixtures.”

”The staff was fantastic; they kept the rooms really clean.”

”Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

”Unfortunately, the room didn’t make the best first impression. On arrival, there were two used bath sheets and a T-shirt left by the front door. Once inside, I noticed hairs throughout the carpet, on the bed and around the room. There was also a thick layer of dust on top of the headboard, which was particularly concerning as I’m very sensitive to dust mites. The room lacked basic information about hotel amenities, services and breakfast times/location; the only information provided was the...

”Can`t fault anything about our stay at The View at The White Horse. We always feel very welcome having stayed on a number of occasions. Really good menu, food delicious. Would highly recommend.”

”I stayed there one night as I attended an event in a nearby place. For my purposes the location couldn't be better. And it was anyway close to the centre of Eastwood. And the bus stops were very close if you need to use public transport. I had a clean and comfortable room with a bathroom. With extra cost I ate a good full English breakfast. Staff was friendly. ”
