”We had a wonderful stay here. Bill was so friendly and helpful at check in, an asset to the hotel for sure. Kitchen and room is very nice size!”

”Ask for a room you want and which side. The room had a musty smell until we turned on the AC. Suggested they turn the AC on before guests arrive. Also the bathroom floor in the handicap room was like a skating rink.”

”Adorable cabin and patio area to grill and relax by a fire. Pretty scenery and quiet area to visit. Will go back!”

”Clean and comfortable. Very small room. No refrigerator or microwave. We called desk to get fridge. They had them in the lobby/bar but it was so tiny I could only fit 1 coke bottle and it never got cold! They do give you 1 token per person for a beer or drink in the bar. Staff was polite and helpful. Hi-tech elevator took a minute to get used to! Location was excellent! Shower wouldn't work so maintenance had to come fix it, but came promptly. Great view from rooftop bar/restaurant.”

”Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail.”

”Great stay. The staff was friendly but need to be more informative on closures such as the pool closing 2 hours early, no functioning hot tub and the on-site restaurant not being in operation. We will likely return when these issues are resolved”

”The views were beautiful, cabin was VERY clean, and is just adorable. All appliances work, beds and furniture were super nice. Close to cool shops and great places to eat. We will definitely choose this home again for our vacation needs!”

”The inside has been renovated, but the outside still looks older. Good location, nice pool area, friendly staff, most places I wanted to go to were within 10-15 mins. Would definitely stay here again”
