”The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. ”I stayed there one night as I attended an event in a nearby place. For my purposes the location couldn't be better. And it was anyway close to the centre of Eastwood. And the bus stops were very close if you need to use public transport. I had a clean and comfortable room with a bathroom. With extra cost I ate a good full English breakfast. Staff was friendly. ”

”This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. The two small bath towels and one hand towel provided were frayed. The menu is very basic in the pub. I had a pizza that was inedible as it tasted mouldy and looked horrible.
