”Very nice location - in a wealthy enclave. Excellent footpath along a canal takes you most of the way into Lincoln (3-4 mile walk). Great pub, decent food. If you want up market restaurants, there are a few within a 5 minute walk in the neighboring area. Quite area, nice and clean.”

”We only stayed for one night before an early morning flight from Stansted, but we were pleased with our stay. It was good value for money, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep — albeit a short one due to our early flight! The hotel was only around a 15-minute drive from the terminal, which made it really convenient for an early departure. There’s also a large car park at the back, which was really handy. ”I love this place, it's a gem! The staff are all incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. I was suppose to stay 3 nights but got caught-up in the London Heathrow meltdown and my connection to Glasgow was cancelled. I took a train to Motherwell the next day. I called to explain and they were very accommodating of me missing my first night. Today I stated the West Highland Way trek. The Motherwell train station is a 1 hour train ride from Milgavnie (a starting point for the West Highland Way)....

”Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...
