”The location was amazing for anyone going to visit Goodison Park. It is literal steps away from the back of the Bullens stand. The unit was nice, though it could have been cleaned a bit better. There were no instructions that came with the unit so we couldn't figure out how to run the central heat and had to rely on the space heaters. We also couldn't figure out how to lock the doors (lift up on the handle while turning the key!) and had trouble finding the wifi code. A simple instruction sheet...

”Easy check-in. Excellent communication from hosts. House was a good size which catered for the five of us. Our only complaint was that there weren't enough cups for all of us to have our morning tea and coffee at the same time. Two bathroom features was a Godsend.”

”Unfortunately this property was not as advertised with its gleaming photos - house was not as clean as it should have been with dust and dirt present, along with a lot of hair (that did not belong to us) on bedding and carpet. The bedroom with the two beds did not have a working radiator which left the room freezing cold and unusable for both nights for the two adults staying with me. Responses were untimely from the host and there was dog poo to greet us as we opened the gate to the front door....

”When we arrived there were cream chargers (laughing gas canisters), drugs clip bags and smashed glass all over the back yard. Also the end of a weed joint on the top of a door frame and blood on toilet paper. Despite this we were denied our security deposit after the stay ”

”Graham and Debbie were the perfect hosts. TheAnnexe was tastefully decorated and their garden was wonderful (our dog loved running about on the huge garden. I thoroughly recommend this property to anyone and look forward to spending another perfect and relaxing holiday here myself.”

”Wow!! What can i say about the property and our stay....wow just wow! We had a fantastic time on our stay. Julie is an incredible host, very gracious and willing to help in any way. The home itself is 5*, very well maintained, a huge garden, and some of the most incredible views imaginable. My family loved it! We wish we lived there, its so serene and peaceful....morning coffee overlooking the beach and the Mersey cannot be beaten! Next time i go back to Liverpool i hope to stay there again....

”After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform.”

”The area was as expected - I knew it. It's not the greatest, but OK. It advertised as having parking. It was residents parking - but there are no residents parking permits - the solution was to park 100m+ away in a car park. The decor looked tired, on arrival, but not a major concern for us - the pictures don't reflect this. We discovered a pile of full bin bags outside in the back yard, which animals had got at and food was scattered. There were only 3/9 lights in the kitchen working - a...

"Tämän hotellin loisto ja parhaat päivät ovat kaukana takanapäin. Komea ulkokuori kätkee taakseen kuluneen ja ränsistyneen sisustan. Esim. Huoneen ikkuna oli ruostunut auki asentoon, eikä sitä saanut kiinni. Sisempi ikkuna toki meni kiinni, mutta tuuli sitä rämisytti kun puhalsi niin, että verhot sisällä heilui. Kun kerroin asiasta, henkilökunta toimitti huoneeseen pienen lisäpatterin ja paksumman peitteen. Huonetta ei myöskään siivottu kertaakaan neljän yön vierailun aikana, siellä ei edes käyty. Sijainti on toki hyvä."
