”We had a lovely three night stay at Lancaster Cottage to see out 2025. The cottage was so welcoming and cosy - exactly what we were looking for. The decor and interiors really add to the atmosphere and make it feel like a home away from home. Katie has truly thought of everything, from games to all the helpful information you might need in the guest manual. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lancaster Cottage and would love to return.”

”We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...

”Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there.”

”Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter. Given it's a twenty minute walk into Cromford a few tea bags and milk would have been welcome when we got there. Wine nice touch, tea facilities essential. Yes we could have taken our own..
