”dreadful English hotel - reminded me the "Faulty Towers". Hideous bathroom with water dribbling from the shower rather than flowing full stream; toilet that does not flush properly. Everything looked so old, decrepit and depressing; old dirty windows that was impossible to open during an extremely hot night; old sink with too separate taps - cold and hot water - Come on Britain - I thought we have done with the old "English things" like separate taps in the sink. ”It situated right in the town centre. A bit chaotic. The bathroom and toilet had no lock and male and female was sharing, that was stressful having to keep an eye on the door.”

”We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall.”

”Good value. Had a pleasant ground floor room overlooking greenery and you can open windows and French doors to get a pleasing evening breeze. Property is a little dated but we were fine with that. Access to plugs is an issue for charger, kettle and iron , cant use light plugs as different so have to pull out tv on stand to access and crawl in. They should have an extension plug pack to make it easier.”
