”We stayed the Palais Hortenberg as a jumping off point for a Dolomites trek. It was a very comfortable and convenient place to start off and return to. We were able to store our luggage, rest and relax in a spacious room, and enjoy breakfast on our lovely terrace. We were also able to do laundry on the premises which was a big help after a long hike. ”

”We loved staying at this hotel. It’s a 25 minute drive from Cortina city but the location is very lovely and quaint. The staff (servers especially) are wonderful and my husband said the pizza was the best he had in Italy (we ate pizza every day for 2 weeks). They offer gelato and there’s a cold spring water fountain across the road from the hotel, but if you’re anticipating wanting other snacks, best to pick up when you’re in a bigger town / before you head back to hotel.”

”Hotel Krone has a great location in the centre of Brixen. All services and restaurants are just around the corner. Hiking routes are easily accessible also without a car by bus. Room was spacious but there was no aircondition.”
