”Great old English inn. Very friendly staff, good food and beers. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.”

”Staff were lovely unfortunately everything else wasn’t. Very noisy with the aircon or whatever it was outside the window. The shower door was hard to open and close. Needed a good clean in the room. Was very expensive for what it was. Pillows were awful. Won’t be going back.”

”The bedroom was excellent,clean well furnished and appointed. The only small criticism was that there was a lack of comfortable space away from the restaurant space and bar but as we were only staying one night this didn’t matter too much. The breakfast was excellent and the bar food,whereas it was well prepared, was a little limited in choice. We would however stay again.”

”This is a lovely old pub in the middle of Warwick on Eden. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was cosy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed one night as we were heading to Scotland. We had a lovely evening meal, which I had pre booked. We had the flat iron steak which was cooked to perfection. Breakfast the following morning was equally as good, and freshly cooked to order.”

”Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.”

”Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly.”
