âA very dated hotel. Welcome at reception luke warm with a team that seem disinterested in providing a welcoming friendly greeting to arriving guests.
Many windows broken, rooms in need of a deep clean and refresh. Small amounts of mould and poorly repaired sealant in bathrooms.
Towels and bed linen clean.
There is very much a vibe of âhow little can we do to maintain the hotel, how cheaply can we do this repair, how little can we pay and invest in our employeesâ. And that approach shows....

âFrom the moment we arrived the staff couldnât do enough for us. They let us check in even though we were slightly early and they changed the room to a ground floor one so we didnât have to climb the stairs. The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and welcoming.
