”We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The hosts were helpful and the setting is idyllic with pheasants and wildlife all around. Close to lots of forest walks and to local pubs and to the pretty village of Petworth. We were at the cottage for almost three weeks and it felt like home when we left. Very central for a visit to West Sussex and all that it has to offer.”

”We enjoyed our stay in Kingley, although felt that the property could do with some extra tlc, especially regarding carpets and window fittings. It would also have helped if there had been a sofa bed in the study, as we had two boys who did not wish to share a double bed and we had two girls in the twin bedded room.. A good size garden and patio, although lack of umbrellas meant that we needed to move the furniture around to avoid the (very hot) sun. Easy to access Chichester, the beach at...

”Great big house in a good location, close to shops and marina. Lovely and quiet. Had all the amenities you needed including big fridge/freezer, big beds, large dining area, washing machine, plenty of bathrooms, plenty parking space and a lovely private garden space for a hot tub rental. Our host was great and had the accommodation ready for us at our planned arrival time. We enjoyed our stay for the week and would recommend it to anyone coming to the solent.”

”Very happy with our stay. The lodge was very clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. Beautifully private and quiet. Lots of wildlife around. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you to our wonderful host. ”

”A very very lovely property. Everything is top notch. The pool was warm, the garden is lovely. The beds are super comfy. The location for getting to the beach is brilliant. We all loved it and will return without a doubt.”

”Firstly have to say Henry Adams staff have been amazing as due to our house sale falling through we could extend our stay no problem. The house is in a perfect location and lovely garden for the pups, great gardener and communication with HA staff.. The home is very dated and unfortunately uncomfortable (we ordered a sofa early just to have somewhere comfortable to relax ) I didn’t feel it was cleaned very well when we arrived but that was rectified quickly! For a long weekend it’s a good...

”Wonderful quiet location - perfect for a retreat and with plenty of space.”

”A deceptively large house which has been beautifully updated. The back dining/kitchen area is lovely. Cute courtyard garden. The car park space is very small and difficult to access. Very close to town centre which was great. Easy to walk into town. Would stay again.”

”My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. My kids enjoyed picking strawberries from the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The cottage itself was cozy,...
