”Great host and great stay!”

”It was clean but a bit further from Manchester than expected. There’s an easy bus system however, so it’s not a very big deal. Only other complaint is that the bunk bed room is a bit more cramped than it seems in the pictures. Overall a nice spot to stay for a few days.”

”Bed was broken, one shower’s hot water didn’t work, main water heater didn’t work, one room was too small for the closet/cabinet to even open, minimal towels available, no shampoo or bath soap, and grass and weeks were almost two feet tall. Host was generally responsive but this way too much to deal with on a short stay.”

”Beautiful, cosy two bed cottage, there was a double room and a room with bunk beds (plus a sofa bed we didn't use). Beds were comfortable, decor was nice, the area is very quiet and was easy to find. We had everything we needed, the ground coffee and milk sachets was a great touch. We really enjoyed the terrace overlooking the canal, but it's worth mentioning the steps to the terrace are shallow and steep, so not easy to navigate if any mobility issues - though there is a hand rail and we...

”We were attending a family wedding in the area and the house was the perfect base for our stay.The house was all we anticipated and more and the host has always been very quick to respond to any queries i may have had.I would recommend to anyone. Its a lovely house in a quiet location even given the fact that it is not too far from main roads.”
