”Dust in A/C unit made both of sneeze multiple times before shutting it off. This is from someone who has no allergies and went into a sneezing fit. Needs a thorough cleaning. If you have a dust allergy, beware.”

”The Old Mill is a lovely old building that has been well converted to a b&b. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and importantly for us, the windows are easily openable. Bere Regis is a small but well connected village, there are many places of interest within easy reach. ”

”I LOVED this place! A proper British pub, that was so cozy it felt like home. I absolutely loved the towel warmers ( we don't have that in the US) and the Ily coffee in the room with a French press and cookies. Was an extra cherry on top! The bed was so comfortable and felt like I was in the countryside tucked away from the world. I absolutely loved it and would 10/10 come back and stay again! Not to mention the breakfast was absolutely fabulous! Thank you for such a great stay!”

”My mother stayed in a room last night, I parked for a while but was told it must be a short stay, but I was rudely told ‘if you don’t move your vehicle soon I will have to fine you’ my mother has stayed in the hotel many times & use to be a regular . ”

”Great little find for myself and husband for his birthday. Really friendly staff, lovely clean room and good food and drink options. Leads directly into the forest which was lovely, a five min walk down to the village for a pint and a wonder round! Definitely will stay again”

”Gordon House was absolutely lovely and even better than expected! So spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. Anne the owner was such a lovely, delightful lady, at breakfast she was friendly, kind and considerate to all of the guests and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast cooked by her husband was just perfect and there was a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and other options available on request. ”Can not fault any aspect of two nights spent in the Burley Inn, nothing was too much trouble from all the staff we came into. Lorraine and Steve were particularly helpful, friendly and very polite. One very small negative point there was not a USB charging point in the room but a this was overcome by the staff providing a plug with a USB attachment. Would stay in the Burley Inn again without any hestitation if and when I am in the Area. Mike Glendinning ”
